The process

  • The first step in the journey is meeting together to get to know one another and get an initial feel for what you have in mind for your custom home. Financing and pre-qualifications will also be discussed.

  • The site of your future home must be identified, inspected and purchased. We will help you evaluate locations to best meet your home build project’s goals.

  • Together we will select a floorpan, exterior elevation and materials for your custom home. Cost and building timeline estimates are set.

  • In this phase, the plans are submitted to the entity for approval. Once plans are approved, the construction of your custom home can begin!

  • During the actual building phase of your project, we will work with contractors who meet our high quality standards to make sure every single aspect of your home is the best it can be. You will be included regularly throughout the project to watch it all come together.

  • The time has come to hand the keys of your custom built home over to you! You will continue to have access to us and our team even after your project is completed. It’s our goal to make sure you are completely satisfied with your new home.

We will work with you every step of the way. From picking your lot and designing your home, all the way through the building process, we are here for you. We at CA Homes pride our self on our work and our client relationships. We are also mindful of your budget during the process - we want you to be happy and love your new home! No matter what stage of the process, we will always put you first!

How long will it take to build my custom home?

There are several variables affecting the construction timeline when you are building a new home…. weather, material and labor availability, customer changes, geography, etc. In most instances, however, our custom homes take an average of 4-6 months of actual construction. Please note this is after receiving the building permits and everything has been approved.

What areas does CA Homes build in?

We currently build all over the Magic Valley of Southern Idaho, and other locations are absolutely something than can be discussed.

How do I finance a custom home build?

Generally a construction/per loan is required for most custom home builds. We have lenders that we work with and can assist you with the process. We at CA Homes will be here to guide you along this process.

We don’t own a home site yet, can you help?

Yes! We have available lots that you can choose from or we work with a real-estate team that can assist you in your lot search and purchase.
